What My Substack is All About

Hi! I’m Cait McGinley the creative mind behind The Creative Muse. I’ve been a writer for as long as I can remember, but I didn’t share any of my work until just a few years ago, when I self- published my debut novel, OMG Zombies! During this process, I learned that the most rewarding part of writing is being brave enough to share what lands on the page with an audience. So, my goal for this space is to put more of my writing out into the universe. All of it. Poems, short stories, works in progress. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I hope that by doing this, I inspire other writers to be brave in the vulnerability of sharing what they’ve created.

Part of being vulnerable is being honest, so I’m going to be honest with you. Like me, this space is very much a work in progress. I’ll try my best to post a poem or story every two weeks, while I figure out how this new endeavor fits with my daily routine.
